An excellent article. Young teenage boys are incredibly underserved in the current publishing market an Nathanael Lessore’s books are incredibly important in filling that gap, and in allowing boys to see themselves and their lives represented in books in a realistic way.
"The discussions or reflections that books inspire can change lives for the better. I know because I’ve seen it."

Author Nathanael Lessore believes fiction can play a big role in supporting positive attitudes to boyhood and masculinity.

The news is out so I can finally point at this. Yes this is my publisher of the Vivi novels. I’m devastated that another company started to change things up in this industry has failed to thrive. I don’t know any more so pls be compassionate to the authors.

The relief when we finally found the source of the weird ticking noise in 12yo’s bedroom! I originally thought it was coming through the wall from next door & that he’d never sleep in his own room again…

This book looks like fun for Halloween #KidLitUK
For Halloween I'd love to gift one of my followers on here a free copy of my new book, The Notwitches: Prison Break, signed by me and Dotty Sutton. If you fancy it, just like this post (and follow me if you don't already). Shares very much appreciated, obvs. UK-based people only, I'm afraid.

12yo spent most of weekend throwing up; 16yo has been hiking & camping with 4 teen boys she barely knows in freezing weather for her silver DofE - there’s been so little I can do to help either of them & I hate it!

Is all the worrying the hardest part about being a mum?
