This stinks. They never should have been required to be there.
Breaking news: Both National Guardsmen who were shot near the White House have died, officials confirm. They were from West Virginia.

D.C. police say they have the suspect in custody.

Grateful for those who refuse to give up.
Is education a lost cause?

No, it's THE cause, the pièce de résistance of democratic living.

Give up on it, you give in to the banality and brutality of evil.

Reminder to folks that you can get anything you want at The Map Center, even 8x10 glossy prints with a washable finish so you can draw circles and arrows on them, wipe them clean and reuse them. No need to send them to the landfill!
Also, we will be closed on Thanksgiving.

Exclusive: President Trump has argued with the architect he handpicked to design a White House ballroom over the size of the project, reflecting a conflict between architectural norms and Trump’s grandiose aesthetic.
Trump wants a bigger White House ballroom. His architect disagrees.
The president and James McCrery had argued in recent weeks over the project’s size, with Trump pushing him to expand the ballroom.

This is infuriating—RFK Jr and crew are trying to discourage pregnant women from getting Covid vax, claiming they are concerned about autism. RESEARCH shows getting Covid while pregnant increases frequency of autism (and more) for the kid and puts mom at risk for serious respiratory/clotting issues.
