1. A landmark study was just published in The Journal of Pediatrics.

It found a 68% reduction in suicidality for trans youth getting HRT.

It also found only 7 of more than 400 stopped taking HRT... and of those that did, 4 still identified as gender-diverse.

Transgender care saves lives.
Study In The Journal Of Pediatrics Finds Trans Youth Care Lowers Suicidality, Few Detransition
The groundbreaking study found that suicidality dropped for transgender youth receiving hormone therapy by nearly 70%, with only 7 patients of 432 discontinuing treatment.

Predictable but still amazing to watch people who spent literally years accusing every librarian, teacher, and trans person they could find of sexually grooming children suddenly throw themselves in with "actually it's ephebophilia"
Megyn Kelly: "I know somebody very close to this case…Jeffrey Epstein, in this person's view, was not a pedophile…He was into the barely legal type, like he liked 15 year old girls…He wasn't into like 8 year olds…There's a difference between a 15 year old and a 5 year old."

The MA has responded to the EHRC Code of Practice consultation following the Supreme Court ruling on sex and gender.

We raised concerns that the Code of Practice focuses on exclusion rather than inclusion.

On this day more than 50 years ago, Sylvia Rivera climbed onto a stage to advocate for incarcerated trans people at a Pride rally and demanded trans inclusion in the fight for rights.

Hearing her speech is important 50 years later.

Why You Need to Hear the Speech That Sylvia Rivera Wasn’t Allowed To Give
Sylvia Rivera was met with jeers and boos at one of the very first Pride Parades on this day in 1973. Here’s why that matters now.

i don't mean to come off as rude but we cannot sustain ourselves on outrage and anger forever. i think it's even more important now to post about other things too. even if it gets less engagement. you never know who will find it cool and interesting.
It’s a real mindfuck when most ppl wanna post about their latest failures/successes, or weird shit they saw in the wild or cool stuff they made…but the country is a cesspool so cool/weird shit seems trite.

1. The US Transgender Survey has finally been released, and the results are stunning.

- <1% of people are less satisfied after HRT.
- The most common reason for detransition, pausing transition, or stopping transition is transphobia.

Largest Trans Survey Ever: Top Reason Trans People Stop Transitioning Is Transphobia
“In almost every single case, the reason was anti-trans discrimination in the form of pressure to ‘detransition’ from one’s family, friends, or community.”

I, a trans woman, apparently knows nothing about youth gender dysphoria.

Not like I wasn't putting on my mom's makeup at 7 and getting put in detention in 3rd grade for talking about wanting to be a girl.

Just breathtakingly stupid.

Republicans in Utah commissioned an investigation into gender-affirming care for trans youth after banning it in 2023.

They're now rejecting the findings of that investigation which showed access to care reduced suicides and improved "positive mental health and psychosocial functioning outcomes."
Utah lawmakers’ own study found gender-affirming care benefits trans youth. Will they lift the treatment ban?

Took me a bit to process how big a deal this report actually is--its thus far the only review to look at the entire body of currently available research. It took two years to conduct, stands at 1,000 pages, and completely contradicts the Cass Review and the common arguments for bans on this care.

Demanding that women be defined by our biology isn't a win for feminism.

The people driving this are not acting in the interests of women. They're taking us all backwards and ushering in the far right.
