I'm trying to start writing book 2 again. I realise it's been almost a year since I broke off from it and the best part of 6 months since I finished the draft of Devil in the Vicarage. I may have forgotten how to write in the meantime.

Thatcher's government did this with Section 28, banned the "promotion of homosexuality" as a danger to children, while actively protecting Jimmy Savile and who knows how many other pedophiles. It's the same damn playbook.
I cannot begin to properly articulate how upsetting it is to have had people baselessly accuse trans people of being groomers and pedophiles only for it to come out that they were deliberately doing this as part of a project to provide cover to actual groomers and pedophiles in positions of power

So our latest attempt to get a washing machine is stymied by the van driver refusing to park on our street. Normally, given the signs saying there're going to repaint the lines, I'd agree he had a point. Given everyone's been ignoring the signs for days & today most lines are literally underwater...

I've no clue if we got our next funding, no clue how things will turn out for our studio but I'll die fuckin proud of our work.
