It's right there in the fucking text, but they're going to find a way.

I haven't scolded anyone for using Spotify because a) why and b) if everyone's still got a twitter account then there's a gulf of understanding on personal limits.

I do like Paul Dano but I think it is *especially* rich that the director who almost ruined Django with his excruciating attempt to act is coming after literally any other actor about acting.

you know how people who are actually interested in video games and gaming have stopped playing AAA games long ago?

I think about that a lot.

Today I became obsessed with both Ethel Cain and Cory Hanson. Perverts is transcendent. I'm mad it's been out this entire year already. Cory is the Harry Nilsson reincarnation I've needed for years.

They don’t give a shit if this is the most hack court in our lifetime, the project is to dissolve the constitutional republic entire.
#BREAKING: Over dissents from the three democratic appointees, #SCOTUS puts Texas's new House maps back into effect for (and, presumably, through) the 2026 midterms.

The three Democratic appointees, in an opinion by Justice Kagan, dissent.

I'll post the ruling shortly.

I would, however, like to fondly reminisce how–when the screen went black–someone in the (very quiet!) theater went "NO-"
And I judged them there as well!
What roast my chestnuts about this take is that the ending is not ambiguous! The carnage of the world outmatched him! He didn’t go in the door because he knew! His dreams told him his place at the end was waiting for him!

That first pic had me fear-laughing “oh my god” to myself. Temu Kubrick horrors.
🚨 BREAKING: Oversight Dems have received never-before-seen photos and videos of Jeffrey Epstein's private island that are a harrowing look behind Epstein’s closed doors.

See for yourself. We won’t stop fighting until we end this cover-up and deliver justice for the survivors.

Paid yesterday, bills calculated today. I've been trying and failing to guard a xmas budget for the last 3 months and my grand result is that we remain $40 from an empty acct the day before payday. I'm tired of this, grandpa...

Some critical failures here that reduce it to blockhead showboating from Ohio, BUT: they are poking at the fence, the flames lick ever closerrrrrr.
Sen. Bernie Moreno, R-Ohio, just introduced a bill to ban Americans from holding dual citizenship. The bill says that to “preserve the integrity of national citizenship, allegiance to the United States must be undivided.” It’s called the Exclusive Citizenship Act.

Seems like this list admires how successful a movie is at its intended effect, without any passionate/weirdo energy that argues for what a film can *do*.
it's depressing any way you look at it, though.
I'm not going to pretend these are bad films (I don't even mind the Woody film) but this doesn't exactly scream "voracious cinephile with a near-encyclopedic knowledge of genre and world cinema" so much as "dad who watches a lot of TNT."

The point is to do Nazi rhetoric, explicitly. All of them know it's not true, it's due to private equity firms and corps buying up lots and keeping them vacant or doing AirBnB so that rents stay high. It's Nazi cosplay time, however, so they trot this call-to-violence out.
JD Vance: "Why did homes get so unaffordable? Because we had 20 million illegal aliens in this country taking homes that ought by right go to American citizens."

Boy do I have super bad news about the entire history of the United States military
The worst part about the boat strikes - regardless of who ordered what and besides the ultimate tragedy of lives lost - is they’re forever a stain on the professionalism and dignity of the United States military.

They’re an insult to every American who ever sacrificed to do the right thing.

High crimes in low pressure, with shrill blame-shifting and milhousing when consequences loom. I'm tired of these paperbag boys claiming cultural jurisdiction.
"Fog of War:" Hegseth cites confusion in defending a follow-on strike in a scrutinized September attack on an alleged drug boat that killed survivors. President Trump has said he didn't know anything. Lawmakers have announced congressional reviews of the strikes.
