Son being on 11 million and Bouanga being on only 3.5 million (pulled these numbers from the MLS PA site, which I assume is up to date) is probably what is fueling this. My guess is he either goes or LAFC have to double his salary and give him a new contract to stay.

Anthony's having some fun here but if there's one lesson MLS front offices should take from the past couple years it's that the guys you can produce from your own academies are, by and large, better than the ones you tend to find elsewhere with your U-22 signings.
