Brexit isolated us, now is the time for closer relations with the EU.

Graham Leadbitter: "A false hope deal (Brexit) that has left us far away from our European friends, desperately clinging to a US administration who doesn't care about our national interests."

I’ve said it before - Trump is like King Cnut - not a spelling mistake…..the bloke that infamously tried to defy the tide.

Green energy is part of a tidal shift in human affairs, an irresistible force in the move to a green economy - Trump sits on the beach believing his own PR.

Reform love free speech while being perpetually offended any time someone asks them a very basic question.

It's a curious paradox.

Why doesn't he just laugh and say, "Of course he isn't" instead of getting so cross.

Starmer’s anti-asylum policies show how utterly clueless he is about the right-wing media’s role in politics.

He’s trying to fix a “problem” contrived by Farage, GB News and The Telegraph. He’ll never win, because ultimately he’s fighting a ghost – he’s fighting something that doesn’t really exist

The Home Secretary says "we have become the destination of choice in Europe, clearly visible to every people smuggler and would-be illegal migrant across the world"

That is a factually untrue claim: the Home Office shows that the UK is fifth, getting 1/10 claims, while Germany gets 1/5 claims

One of the most shameful incidents of WW2 was when the government and press scapegoated refugees, then decided to pack them off an a cramped ship, The HMT DUNERA and ship them to Australia.

As they boarded the boat they were stripped of the valuables and robbed by the guards.

Now government policy

But he is supporting what she's got to say. That was the point of the question
