ICE in Minnesota is reminiscent of the firehoses used during the Civil Rights era. Images are compelling evidence that words can't compete with
This is incredible: 81% of working class and 83% of young voters have seen video of Renee Good's killing, per new data I've obtained. Majority of working class disapproves of ICE enforcement. ICE brutality is breaking through big time.

Some thoughts on this here:

This is surreal. 4 Oglala Lakota men kidnapped by ICE in Minneapolis have finally been located. One of them was released but the other 3 are being held at Fort Snelling, a former concentration camp used to imprison Native people incl. the Dakota 38 during Dakota Wars.

This is a watershed moment for Texas - for the first time ever, solar supplied more electricity than coal in 2025.

I will say it again: At this rate, TX will likely decarbonize its electricity sector faster than CA.

TX clean electricity is growing at 13%,m more than twice that of CA's at 6%.
Texas solar power surpassed coal in 2025 for the first year ever. Here's why.
In 2025 — for the first year ever — solar arrays provided more electricity to Texas’ main power grid than coal-fired power plants.

Trump just announced a 25% tariff on advanced chips, but not on chips that are used within the United States. So it's a tariff on chips used an input into exports. Yes, effectively an export tariff.

We should tell the New York Times that there are a few Harvard undergraduates who come from Minneapolis.
This is how far you have to scroll on the NYTimes homepage to get any coverage of what's going on day-to-day in an occupied American city where schools are closing because the government is checking the papers of all brown or Asian people then brutalizing, imprisoning or killing them.

I know people on Bsky know this but I hope it filters out: The feds are OCCUPYING the Twin Cities. This is a blockade, a siege. They are shutting down economic and civic activity. They are conducting "papers please" stops. They are criminalizing being a bystander/witness.

You could be next.

Might be a tad bit late once the U.S. has attacked a NATO ally.

The War Powers Resolution is notable because it provides the *minority* a mechanism for forcing votes on unauthorized military actions.

Senator Tillis is in the majority which has many more tools available—and available now.
Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC), to Bloomberg TV:

“If there is military action against #Greenland, I will be one of the first people to file and co-sponsor a War Powers Resolution. It will pass.”
