The internet’s only Voyager fan. Not sure if I’m a leftist because of Star Trek or a Star Trek fan because I’m a leftist.

My favorite moment from any Arkham game is in Origins when you’re sneaking through GCPD and pass over a room of about 30 cops - the superior officer is telling them about the bounty a crime lord put on your head. You’re supposed to keep going.

I always drop down and beat the shit out of them.

I’m starting to get emails and documents from my superiors that I can tell are written by AI, and I deeply, fervently resent the expectation that I read any word of them.

It is both predictable and telling that the losers our meritocracy have deemed some very big brained boys that we must rely on for orbital infrastructure believe we can plop tech notorious for constantly needing to be cooled in an environment where room temperature vessels need massive radiators.
“orbital data centers” is actually the dumbest goddam thing ive ever heard, if you actually give this shit any credence you should lose power of attorney

'measles outbreak at the child prison' seems entirely avoidable, it's really the kind of thing that only happens if you do several unthinkably evil things on purpose all at once

“I’ve gotta kill 15 minutes” is such a raw way to express wasting time.

Really evokes mankind‘s violent animosity toward The Clock.

Things that aren’t crime island that you could do with billions dollars:

- A home theater built to look like the bridge of USS Voyager.
- a personally tailored Klingon uniform.
- A Star Trek RPG with the mechanical depth of BG3 and the writing of Disco Elysium.
- every good cause on Earth.
I know the science is that a net worth of billions is likely to warp your brain but I just think there's so many things you could do with a billion dollars that does not involve going to crime island
If I was a billionaire I would not take trips to Crime Island. I would own The Simpsons arcade machine

Guys, don’t worry about anything. I was assured twice yesterday by Amy Klobuchar that the solution for all this is for me to give Amy Klobuchar money.

All the debate about Trump’s comments on guns and how his supporters might reconcile that with their beliefs on the 2A is gonna get a lot easier to understand when you remember that their belief has always been that they should be allowed to have guns but their political opponents shouldn’t.

I don't have to give it up for the Atlantic fascism article for acknowledging fascism, because it found the space to both pat itself on the back for understanding it now, but also still frame leftists as being wrong because "it wasn't fascist when THEY were calling it that".

Something the regime has not and seemingly cannot understand is that almost every photo of people resisting ICE makes the protesters look cool as hell.
Comics retailing legend Greg Ketter standing up to ICE in Minneapolis. Yes, that's tear gas. He's 70 years old.

You have to read this. Firsthand affidavit from one of the women who was there and recording the video. She talks about how Alex Pretti was directing traffic when she arrived. She watched him be killed in front of her. She's afraid to go home, worried she'll be arrested.

I can't put into words the feeling of watching our government, a hive of evil antisocial filth, the absolute worst humanity has to offer, colliding with the best. Ordinary people trying to help each other, risking everything to stand up for what's plainly, unambiguously fair and right. It's unreal

I'm too angry to articulate precisely how I'm feeling at the moment. I will say that I'll never forgive the people who enacted or enabled this. I'll never trust this system again, and my comrades are those who will hold these criminals accountable and help build a new system in the shell of the old.

they're executing moms and nurses in the street. they're using preschoolers as bait. they're stealing people's dads and grandmas and children. they're tear gassing babies. they're staking out schools. there is no remedy but abolition. any proposal that doesn't start there is an act of violence.
