for the second time in as many months i’ve ordered something for shipping because i couldn’t find the item i needed in the stores. the stores said it would be free delivery since the items weren’t in stores. then after i place the order, the store changes my “shipping” to “home delivery”

Mike Holtz died unexpectedly Friday.

Sure you know him. He was the "crazy guy" - his words, not mine - who spent 40 years turning his Hovey Avenue home into a glowing, full-boat bonkers North Pole outpost.
Thirteen hundred blow molds. In the yard, on the porch, on the roof. Everywhere.
The man became locally legendary, then nationally noticed. Even made the New York Times.
Joke was, the place was so bright that satellites didn't need coordinates - they just waved.
Mike was 64.
A dark day on Hovey Avenue.
Sadly, literally.
