Saw the trailer for this before Hamnet of all places and there was a collective what the fuck reaction from the audience. Not even sure what it's doing over here!
Amazon’s MGM studios spent tens of millions, but the documentary is projected to make just $1M in its first week.

This comes as a new report from Rolling Stone details serious labor issues and two-thirds of the film’s staff requesting not to be credited at the end of the film. trib.al/Clr03cD

2025 was really good for film wasn't it? Cor.

Ehrlich's countdown is like celebrating New Years Eve for film for me.

I finished Keegan's Foster today on the way home and from this and Small Things Like These, I don't remember the last time an author made such an impact on me. Both short books but crikey are they powerful. Those last chapters on Foster had me broken.

Bonus Mushishi omnibus I'm also going through.

I've managed to get through an alright amount of books last year, but last night I finished Small Things Like These by Claire Keegan and it made me remember why I love reading so much.

I've enjoyed my detective mysteries, but the way Keegan writes unlocked something in me I didn't know I needed.

Every time I see some shill helping to flog a useless, toxic thing that nobody wants to the world, it’s Jimmy Fallon.
Jimmy Fallon: "And do you use ChatGPT when raising your baby?"

Sam Altman: "I cannot imagine figuring out how to raise a newborn without ChatGPT."

I've been away from Tbubs too long (missed one year.) Favourite weekend of the year.

Good company, good comics and gave me an excuse to watch Del Toro's Frankenstein again. No clue where all my new prints will go.

Designer: all right Mr. Del Toro here’s those Frankenstein’s monster designs, real sexy just like you asked for.
Del Toro: (nodding) this is exactly as sexy as I asked for.

How many times do I have to puff my inhaler to equate to the same pollutants generated by one journey on a private jet? Just checking...
As somebody with asthma who uses inhalers - SHUT THE FUCK UP. THIS ARTICLE IS SHAMING PEOPLE WITH A CHRONIC CONDITION.

"Significantly" My ass. You know what else does? AI Data centers - corporations - cows - asphalt - THOUSANDS OF OTHERS THINGS THAT ARE NOT MEDICINE.

I look back now and realise that my A-Level media studies course was built entirely off the back of the Cunningham/Jonze/Gondry set. Formative works!
The Directors Label by PALM was a short lived DVD collection of the very best film/music directors and curated their best most well known works alongside lesser seen curios. Inspiring and very much recommended.

The internet Archive has the seven volumes here for free:
