Pulte is wishcasting
We have reached out to FHFA, the Fed, and the White House. No one has provided any details or shown any evidence beyond Pulte's statement that any reports exist about Chair Powell's thinking. There are no such reports in financial media or even conservative media, to my knowledge.

Congress literally created an Alien Terrorist Removal Court for the expeditious removal of aliens who are designated as terrorists, under a preponderance of evidence standard.

I think problem isn’t the time it would take, but the fact that the government would have to produce actual evidence

This is what representation in government looks like. This should have been an entire codel. It's not about waiting until the midterms. It's about taking action NOW
I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had that chance. I have called his wife, Jennifer, to pass along his message of love. I look forward to providing a full update upon my return.

I'm reasonably sure that today's drop in UNH is the largest dollar decline in a Dow component ever. Does anybody keep a list of such things?

EVs resolve one issue of automobile dependence: tailpipe emissions. They are as bad as ICE vehicles on noise (over 20 MPH), space, and embedded carbon and significantly worse on tire particulates, road wear and lethal crash force (20-25% heavier, faster acceleration).

Cars don’t solve car problems.
New paper compares non-exhaust pollution (brake and tire particulates) from ICE and EV cars.

Conclusion: EV's create more tire pollution b/c they're heavier, but less brake pollution due to regenerative braking.

EVs come out ahead overall if >15% of driving is in a city.

Notice how all of these shitbags they pretend government is “like a business” never ever ever talk about increasing revenue for that “business”. It’s all about cutting “cost” and yet somehow also cutting revenue even more.

This sounds like the same issue over which a career AUSA resigned because there was no predicate for asking for a bank freeze.

I once assumed the private sector would be the one firewall against (some of) Trump's excesses and erratic behaviors. Maintaining rule of law is critical for a stable business environment.
Turns out that even preservation of the bottom line may be insufficient cause for mustering corporate courage
“.. Asked how much the stock market would need to decline for them to speak out collectively, 44% said it would have to fall 20%. Another 22% said stocks would have to fall 30% before they would take a stand.”
