What happens when you appoint a guy whose skill is running his mouth, not running a complex organization.

And the fact that he's really not much of a scientist, CV to the contrary ......
Oh my God, this is simply not possible.

It cannot be possible.

The NIH director, the DIRECTOR, does not know what actually happens at the NIH. Like, what?!

[My best friend spent two decades at NIH as an intramural researcher; the NIH has an intramural research program, irp.nih.gov/].
Also in this clip...

BHATTACHARYA: Uh uh the NIH funds studies, we don't conduct directly the studies.

Does he not know what happens at NIH at all or how it works, like at all? What a terrible NIH director.

In point of fact you can now only walk to points hundreds of yards away from the White House and gaze at construction fencing, dirt, and one huge crane.
Trump says he's made it possible for people to "walk to the White House instead of getting into an Uber and getting mugged even as the Uber progresses"

The GOP is outraged that Jack Smith, with judicial search warrants, accessed the phone records of half a dozen GOP Senators who Trump and his people called on or around J6.

Meanwhile, DHS is doing the same thing to thousands, or 10s of thousands, of people right now, without a real warrant.

I’m just wondering if Gabbard conferenced in Putin on the call with the FBI agents
Gabbard and Trump are now fact witnesses.
⚠️More on Tulsi Gabbard in Georgia:

• Trump personally ordered her there.
• Gabbard met with FBI agents searching ballots related to Trump’s conspiracy theory about the 2020 election being stolen.
• Gabbard called Trump who spoke to agents on speakerphone.

Yup. But they demand that we understand that the Constitution is whatever they say it is, whenever they say it, for as long as they want to say it. #Conservativeprinciples
The SCOTUS case that, for the first time in US history, found an individual right to own a gun in the 2ndA, struck down a gun ban in… Washington, DC. “DC vs Heller.”
Pirro: "You bring a gun into the District, you mark my words, you're going to jail. I don't care if you have a license in another district and I don't care if you're a law abiding law owner somewhere else. You bring a gun into this District, count on going to jail. And that makes all the difference"

1) the source of discontent with SCOTUS is not the leaks per se but the substance of recent rulings

And

2) the fewer & less people know about the Court’s rulings the less the public can disagree with them
i am very much of the view that undermining the court’s secrecy is a necessary part of remaking it into something like an actual court (and not some guardian council) www.nytimes.com/2026/02/02/u...

It’s 2026, haven’t we figured out yet that performative support is a good thing? Performative support demonstrates societal norms. I’d much rather have brands making money off of pride than hiding from it again.

It’s worth noting that they didn’t even do the search in a well-thought out manner. Tulsi Gabbard was on scene, apparently, and has now opened herself up to cross-examination as a witness to whatever results from this. That is not a good position for an intelligence community executive.
Where we are:
1. With the action in GA, the FBI has been mobilized as part of the plan to steal the 2028 election. And the DNI being on the scene is beyond ominous.
2. After bring chaos and illegality and killings to MN, the ICE assault on that city and others will continue with minimal changes.
