Hello Bluesky! Allow me to introduce myself: My name is Jacky Rosen, and I’m proud to represent the great state of Nevada in the United States Senate. ⬇️
Nevadans are so proud to see our state represented at the U.S. Capitol – and some of the mayors who saw Silver Belle on its journey through Nevada have messages to share in honor of last night’s Christmas tree lighting:

Just in time for the holiday season, some of your favorite brands might be raising their prices because of Trump’s tariffs.

When your gift budget is tighter this year, you’ll know exactly who to blame. I’ll keep fighting to reverse these cost-raising taxes.

If Secretary Hegseth gave a directive to “kill everybody” on boats in the Caribbean, which led to a second strike that killed incapacitated survivors, he may have committed a war crime.

I was proud to help pass a law to allow Medicare to negotiate lower prescription drug prices for seniors – and now, 15 additional medications will see lower prices in 2026 thanks to this law.

As long as I’m in the Senate, I’ll keep fighting to lower costs and give Nevadans more breathing room.

It’s Small Business Saturday! Nevada has so many incredible small businesses, and this holiday season is a great opportunity to shop local and support the stores and restaurants right here in our community.

From my family to yours, happy Thanksgiving! Wishing everyone in Nevada and across the country a happy, healthy, and safe holiday spent with family and loved ones – and filled with good food!

Trump says he would “rather not” help millions of Americans afford health care coverage.

Democrats haven't stopped fighting to extend these tax credits, and we won't give up. If your health care costs spike, Trump will be to blame. He can prevent this by working with us.
President Trump tells reporters that he doesn’t want to extend expiring subsidies under Obamacare, also known as the Affordable Care Act, delivering a major blow to prospects of averting sharp premium hikes next year.
Trump says he would 'rather not' extend Obamacare tax credits 'at all'
The president said he prefers to let the Affordable Care Act subsidies expire on schedule at the end of December, saying that if anything, he wants the money to go to "the people directly."

Trump and Washington Republicans bent over backwards to pass permanent massive tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy, but they’ve done nothing to lower grocery costs or prevent health care costs from spiking for your family.

Our public health policy should be guided by science, not RFK Jr.’s conspiracy theories. Vaccines are safe and effective and have saved millions of lives, including by eradicating diseases like smallpox and polio. This is dangerous misinformation.

CDC webpage says link between autism and vaccines has been ignored, despite several studies finding no evidence
The CDC updated its webpage on autism and vaccines on Wednesday, promoting the debunked theory that the developmental disorder is caused by shots.

If the ACA enhanced premium tax credits expire, health care costs go up for everyone.

We can’t let millions of Americans get priced out of health care coverage, which is why I’ll keep working to extend these tax credits.

Trump’s tariffs are increasing the cost of living for Nevadans. I’m introducing a bill to stop him from making your groceries even more expensive.

We cannot be numb to this. The President of the United States is inciting violence against sitting members of the Senate because they encouraged servicemembers to uphold the Constitution. Time for Senate Republicans to grow a backbone and condemn this behavior ASAP.

No one wants to have a smaller Thanksgiving meal this year. But Trump’s reckless policies are making everything – from turkey to canned vegetables – more expensive.

My number one priority continues to be working across party lines to deliver for families across our state.

Proud to have secured nearly $15 million in federal funding for community projects across Nevada, along with a full year of funding for SNAP and WIC.

Donald Trump is continuing his Project 2025 goal of dismantling the Department of Education – putting at risk programs that make sure every child has access to quality public education.

I’m glad to see that the bill to release the Epstein files has passed the House with overwhelming bipartisan support – giving the American people the transparency they deserve shouldn’t be a partisan issue.

I call on Senate Republicans to bring this bill to the floor for a vote ASAP.

Donald Trump spent months trying to tell Americans his tariffs weren't raising costs and that rising prices aren’t a problem.

Now, his plan to bring down costs is to roll back just a few of the tariffs that he imposed in the first place.

It’s time to repeal ALL of Trump’s reckless tariffs.

You need to look no further than your grocery bill to see that Trump's "great job on pricing" is a lie.
November 17, 2025 at 10:43 PM
Trump promised to bring prices down “on Day One.”

But according to a new report, the first ten months of his presidency have cost NV families nearly $1k extra on average – more than almost every other state in the nation.

That’s why I’m fighting to lower costs & repeal Trump’s harmful policies.

The newly released Epstein emails make it clear the American people need ALL the information about his relationship with Donald Trump.

Leader Thune must hold a vote on the bipartisan bill to release all the Epstein files as soon as it passes the House next week.

The emails released by the House Oversight Committee have made Donald Trump’s disgusting involvement with Epstein crystal clear.

What else is out there? The American people deserve to know.

Congress must pass the Epstein resolution in a bipartisan way ASAP.

Now that the House is back from its paid vacation, Republicans can no longer ignore the push to release the Epstein files.

Once it reaches the Senate, we’ll do everything in our power to pass it & give the American people the transparency they deserve. Time to see what Donald Trump is so afraid of.
