Not unexpectedly, I ran into one of my usual problems halfway through the second game: I went away for the weekend and then never managed to pick up again what I was doing. I finally got back to it in late May and have completed a few games since, but have neglected making a new thread.

I have - once again - resolved to attempt to tackle (some of) my video game backlog accrued over the past 15 years or so. There's a non-zero chance that won't get too far, but for while it goes, I'm going to steal the idea of @melailurophile.bsky.social 's ongoing thread for her movies to track it.

I recently mislabeled a vulture so here's how to tell Turkey and Black Vultures apart. The Turkey Vulture on the left has light colored feathers underneath its wings the whole way along. The Black Vulture on the right has light feathers only at the tips of its wings, like fingers.

Look who was out on the Raccoonobahn possibly hunting squirrels this afternoon!!!!
Grey fox running up and down, squirrels all up in the trees chattering away as were the birds. I slowed the first 30secs or so so we could see him/her better. I went out and saw him in person. 😍

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is enjoying a Caturday afternoon up on his cream coloured cat tree. He’s looking to the left of the picture out onto the back garden through patio doors. Brown decking and fencing can be seen in the garden along with trees outside the garden. Gizmo has one giant snow dipped paw sitting on the edge on the plinth and has narrow eyes as he observes the goings on outside - there’s likely a bird in a tree or a squirrel on a fence taking his attention! His large ears are facing forwards which I’m sure all good cat scientists will tell us means he means business and is focusing all of his keen senses on possible prey! But he’s a big softy so the creatures outside have nothing to fear!

This is the Sunburst Candy Spider from Thailand. Not AI (sucks to have to declare this). Very real and had been on my wish list for a long time.

The taxonomic placement is unclear, so we are leaving it at Cyrtarachninae.
