It is important to stand up to election conspiracy theorists because nothing destroys a democracy quite as quickly as the belief that elections are fake and pointless.
Lmao

Huntington believed the world would be decided along civilizational lines that looked like this

Do I need to explain how dumb this is?

Iraq was a mistake.

Afghanistan was not.

Like if a terrorist group that was sheltered by the Houthis did a 9/11 style attack we'd absolutely go in the same way today in Yemen.

Someone who puts Afghanistan up there on a list of failures is just going to be in head scratch territory for me.

Energy transitions can happen faster than we think:

In 2000 almost 90% of Denmark's electricity was from fossil fuels.

In 2024 less than 10% of Danish electricity was from fossil fuels.

Sen. Eric Schmitt: "This is the language of a color revolution where you're calling on military men and women to disobey orders."

Trump divided the country, extorted Zelenskyy, tried to steal an election, incited an insurrection, stole confidential documents and banged a porn star. That’s his legacy. He knows he’s incapable of achieving anything good. He’s hoping his ballroom will remind people of him.

The new integrated payments on Christchurch Metro lets you use a credit card, but you can only buy one ticket. Driver was having to give free rides to family members because there was no way to pay for them. Surprised nobody anticipated the rare scenario of buying two bus tickets.

I’m amazed y’all kept wanting to watch this show

I totally lost interest when it took multiple years for the next season to come out
Almost immediately after the Netflix horror series “Stranger Things” premiered in 2016, it exploded in popularity, becoming streaming TV’s first true megahit. The young stars — all adults now — looked back on the show and how it shaped them. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/27/a...

DOGE did what Republicans have wanted to do for years, conduct an ideological purge of government

They always had the ability to do this but they never had the courage to do it directly

That’s why they outsourced the task to Elon Musk

He could take the blame and be booted out once it was done
Really? How many did it take for doge to completely destroy whole government departments, put thousands out of work and steal all of your personal data?
It was a handful of hackers.
It's not a Conspiracy Theory if it's true. musk & putin used hackers to steal the 2024 "election". Period.

RIP ATLANTIC CITY

The idea of building a destination casino resort only works if your destination offer something other than casinos.

Las Vegas has managed to diversify. Atlantic City has not.

The opening of casinos in New York City will be the death of what’s left of that place

Wild how people like this, just like russians, still can’t comprehend that the Revolution of Dignity wasn’t staged. It was Ukrainians choosing freedom over fear. Imperialists and small minds always assume someone else must be pulling the strings, because they’ve never seen a nation with a spine.

I tried to teach ChatGPT how to play poker and it was a surreal experience. The system messing up the chip counts at the end of each hand.

It also kept asserting you could make a straight out of 6789Jack for some reason. 🧐

I don’t think AI will be wiping out all jobs any time soon.

Lol, Zillow tried to rate the climate risks facing individual properties. The real estate industry *hated* it, precisely because it worked -- it made selling risky properties more difficult. So they rebelled & Zillow caved.

I’m warming up to the Mark Kelly 2028 campaign

We need an effective communicator who can win in swing states and make the case against MAGA extremism
Mark Kelly: "My concern is with the service members -- we're gonna put these individuals in a really tough place. They may find our down the road that they did something that's illegal. It's not fair to them. That's why need presidents and secretaries of defense who understand the Constitution"
