Your work, along with some others, has done this for me too! It's rare to see people that look like me in media that aren't portrayed in negative ways!! I was showing my husband your Strip for Stripe post and hearing him excitedly say like, whoa that looks like you! A feeling of being seen 🧡
lrp i’ve struggled with disordered eating since i was 6 and i think my shit would be monumentally more fucked up if it weren’t for porn. literally the first place i ever saw fat people depicted with any sort of care or depth.

This is a small-potatoes argument but I think it's true for a lot of other artists-- drawing erotica and getting to share it with you is an incredibly fulfilling part of my life as an artist and person and having that taken away would leave me with a void in my heart so vast it's hard to think about

i'm sure it's satisfying on some level to hear that visa and mastercard call centers are starting to crack under the pressure and want to contribute to that, but you gotta start directing energy to paypal and stripe too, ESPECIALLY if you are primarily a customer.

I think that pornographic and profane art deserves to exist without any sort of addendum that the real victims are "innocent" lgbtq+ people caught in the crossfire. I think that sex is normal and beautiful and also gross and should not be banned, barred, or persecuted. that's my take.
