FYI in case you see anyone pretending to be me, I only have 2 social media accounts. This one, and one on Mastodon.
It's interesting that as I have the job I can literally take with me anywhere and there are countries that I could move to immediately, I find myself in the position of being unable to move for the foreseeable future.

I guess I'll play the lottery this weekend...

If your child doesn't give you a hug that self-destructs in 10 seconds, only to realize 5 seconds in he's still hugging you, and then starts to run away 2 seconds after that only to collapse 3 seconds later, what are you even doing?

Bonus points for a public performance. That just happened.

I was just waiting for them to clear so my daughter's transportation could get to the building to pick her up for school. I don't think I've ever seen that many police cats and officers in one spot without an arrest.
Watching out a window for the last 30 minutes... 9 police officers in 6 cars for what initially appeared to be a traffic stop of one man seems a bit excessive. He's gotten out of his car, he's been frisked... traffic is blocked, and now 2 officers entered the building. No cuffs or weapons.

New York, if y'all want Chuck Schumer as one of your senators, that's your prerogative, but that man should not be Senate Minority Leader at day's end.
November 10, 2025 at 3:50 PM
If the Senate Minority Leader can't hold his caucus together after being told to do exactly that by voters everywhere, his name must be Chuck Schumer.

I am a hater, and I approve this message.
November 10, 2025 at 3:45 PM
Schumer failed his test as Senate Minority leader. Again.

As expected.

For the promise of a vote? As if Republicans are to be trusted? They aren't.

As if Republicans do the right thing? They don't, or we wouldn't be waiting to have a new rep-elect sworn in.

Where did this trust come from?

Damn. RIP Lenny Wilkens. The best Cavaliers coach in my lifetime, a classy person, and a true legend.

This Cavs fan mourns your passing.

I was told 11 days ago that my criticism of Schumer was tiring. Yet, here we are.

Let me be clear about something, folks:

I am an equal opportunity hater. If you are an elected and you don't do the right thing, I will hate on you. Do I hate on D's more? Yes.

I expect better from them.

Voting is open!

I propose a new law:

No taxes to be owed/collected for the period of time there is:

1: a federal shutdown

2: a congressional district goes without representation (affected district only)

3: any US entity currently with nonvoting representation (affected districts only).

Who says no, and why?

A note of gratitude to our federal workforce who are toiling without pay while the Administration continues to inflict pain and suffering to squeeze more profits out of a broken healthcare sys on the backs of the sick and the poor.

Thank you for your service and sacrifice.

Pass it on.

You know what tonight proves more than anything else? Local elections matter.

Local. Elections. Matter.

The idea that I can't criticize Democrats is ridiculous.

I'm harder on Democrats, as I expect more from them. Every single Republican office holder I know of has met expectations.

The difference is in what is expected. I always expect Republicans to sink lower and lower. They consistently do.

Every white person - please read this.

We MUST fix this.

#Justice is #JustUs - fixing this.
I've seen so many people online using the government shutdown as an opportunity to demonize people who receive SNAP benefits, WIC and any kind of government assistance.

Here's the thing:

I agree with those people.

We need to end the WHITE welfare state

BECAUSE welfare works.

People are struggling right now. Some without work, some working without pay. As we hit day 30 of the government shutdown it's important to note what benefits may be dried up come Nov 1. If at all possible, even if it's just a can of peas or an hr of your time, give to your local community.

When people say their vote doesn't matter, do they mean that they never get what they voted for? Do they mean they never get what they voted for because politics is corrupt? Because both can be true.

Ohioans voted for fair maps. Multiple times. Won. Still don't have.

Both are true here.

All the skills I developed or enhanced during the days of lockdown are being used to help a dear friend who receives SNAP benefits. We talked about this and started planning for this back in January.

Help where you can. Give when you can. It's up to us.

Always has been.

Dear Jeep,

I saw your commercial.

We are NOT buying your Jeep Wagoneer because you say it's the best vehicle to have sex in. And I am certainly not spending that kind of money on ANY automobile.

Fuck all the way off.
