I’ve recently learned that several federal law enforcement agencies are soliciting for volunteers from inside to be cross-trained in riot control and to also serve as protective officers for federal facilities.

This isn’t new, per se. The federal government has done this before…

Ah yes, air traffic controllers must show up for work without pay, but Congress can take the day off. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy says he’ll be making “necessary cuts” to the department, because nothing fixes staffing shortages quite like firing more people.

There’s a GoFundMe link in here, but that’s not why I’m reposting. The Wagoneer that the ICE agents are in looks like a rental car. Out-of-state plate with no ring & a white rectangular sticker in the windshield. It’s quite common for the gov’t to rent cars, but in this context, it raises red flags.

Here's a disturbing video of ICE agents crashing an SUV into a car, starting to drive away, then coming back and violently arresting the female driver. We haven't seen any news coverage of this case, but @gofundme.com told us, "This fundraiser is verified."

Y’all, I don’t know what to do anymore. Without going into specifics, I’ve had one of the roughest years of my life & our elected officials are intentionally making it worse just to score political points with their “teacher’s pets,” for want of a better term. I don’t know how much more I can take.

Let’s use our voices to advocate for FEMA. FEMA does have broad bipartisan support but our congress people need to hear from us!

It's time to make our voices heard! Call your member of Congress at (202) 224-3121. They need to hear from us about the critical support FEMA requires. Together, we can ensure that FEMA gets the funding and resources it needs to serve our communities effectively.

When you call ask these four things:
(1) Remove FEMA from under the Dept of Homeland Security and re-establish it as a standalone agency.
(2) Hire more people at FEMA
(3) Provide more funding for FEMA,and
(4) Install a qualified, Senate-confirmed emergency manager as the FEMA Administrator.

Make the call today!
A small action, multiplied by thousands, can make a real difference. Congress rarely hears from people about FEMA unless it’s to complain. Let’s change that. Use your voice to speak up for the agency and the mission we believe in.

Trump literally said his layoffs will mostly hit Democratic programs/agencies. He’s deliberately hurting thousands of federal employees and their families directly who did not ask for this because he has an axe to grind with the Democrats.

I’m so angry about all of this that I have no words.
