Left coaster.
US Army Ordnance Corps veteran. Doesn’t habitually blow shit up but I know more than one use of a wrench as well as a screwdriver. Owns both imperial and metric crescent wrenches.

“Ah, just one more thing, sir. You’re blowing up those boats, saying they’re filled with drugs headed for the US. But then you go and pardon the guy who brought in 400 tons of cocaine. That’s billions of doses. Help me understand that.”

My favorite Lovecraft quote:

"There are vocal qualities peculiar to men, and vocal qualities peculiar to beasts; and it is terrible to hear the one when the source should yield the other."

Just brilliant 🤌

Trickle-down economics was always a sham.

Nothing has ever trickled down.

One of his properties for sure, and the light suggests brunch.
My mom used to fall asleep at the table in the memory care unit. It always made me feel such deep sadness for how diminished and helpless she had become, and for how she was suffering.
I really wish I could feel bad for him.

Remember 6 weeks ago when Admiral Alvin Holsey, head of the U.S. military’s southern command, abruptly decided to retire?
Makes me think at least one top-ranking officer knows what a war crime is.

Alvin Holsey just took over the US southern command late last year for a position that normally lasts three years

You may have seen Pete Hegseth & Buzz Patterson mock @captmarkkelly.bsky.social U.S. Navy uniform and erroneously claim medals are misplaced (they are not).

Every military uniform is a walking resumé.

Let's take a tour of Sen. Kelly's impressive career:

Our convicted felon president, who pardoned Enrique Tarrio, the leader of the Proud Boys convicted of seditious conspiracy, wants to charge Mark Kelly, a decorated war veteran and astronaut, with seditious conspiracy.

That’s some next-level banana republic shit right there.

America has had 47 presidencies. Only one - under Trump - led to the U.S. being added to the watchlist for the erosion of democracy and civil liberties.

Let that sink in.

The fact that #rachelmaddow has full evidence that #trump tried to help #Bolsonaro flee to #USA during his escape should be a MUCH bigger story than it has been in the media

But oligarchs now control all the media in #USA and shut the story down

Oh, the irony. The U.S. used to send lawyers to countries like Brazil—through programs like the ABA's Rule of Law Initiative— to teach them what a justice system should look like, how to address and curb corruption, etc. Now our justice system is barely limping along.
