When designing tools, it’s easy to focus only on what they do and not how people use them. At #GodotFest, Robin-Yann Storm will teach how to design tools and workflows that fit together seamlessly, balance time and cost, and make teams more effective in the way they work.

How I know I'm working with an awesome team at #GodotFest:

* 2200: too tired to work on integrating Bsky API
* 00:00 Other team member takes a stab
* 01:00 testing now
* 03:15 This is BS. I am not going to invest one more minute into this
* 04:35: got it working. Good night
* 04:45: here's more

Before you leave for #GodotFest in a few days - if you want to showcase your projects, bring a laptop! We'll have two rooms with tables and power. Spots are first come first serve, but reset during lunch break to give everyone a chance.

It's fascinating to see where Godot games are going from showreel to showreel!
- much higher quality and polish
- much more 3D. A while back, it was mostly 2D. Now it's mostly 3D
The Godot 2025 showreel is out! We're so grateful for every submission, vote, and support from our community 💙

What is going on? The trailer of @ballxpit.com was so well done, just the narration sold me on the game!

Downloading this on my Xbox ROG Ally X as we speak!

This talk is particularly near & dear to my hear. I personally thing, that this topic is massively overlooked in gamedev in general, but with indies in particular.
Looking very much forward to this talk and chatting with Patricia!
Have you ever thought about New Game+ for your Godot projects? In her talk at #GodotFest Patricia Berger will show you how to transform your Backend from single-player experiences into connected, community-driven platforms.

We as a Godot community can't thank Gramps enough for making and maintaining GodotSteam.

Thank you!
Well, today marks 365 games, a full year's worth, using #Godot and #GodotSteam that developers shared with us and we've shared with you all! There are many more being made and we'll keep cataloging them and spreading the word about! Looking forward to another year's worth!

A cool perk of working from home is cooking a great meal at home for yourself and your loved ones.
Takes me the same time as going out for lunch in the office (or shorter), it's much cheaper and probably also more healthy.

Complexity in software is the death of robustness, maintainability and joy.

It took me more than a decade to realise, and now 20 years into my career, I still sometimes fall into the complexity trap.
