The North Cascade Range is home to nearly 100 named glaciers, with 15 near Glacier Peak.

the past five summers have eliminated exceptionally large volumes of ice.

This is how our government has been corrupted:

1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office
2) Elected officials rewrite rules in the donors' favor
3) Donors make huge profit
4) Repeat

We must get big money out of politics.

It is the root of our dysfunction.

This isn’t a Republican or Democratic issue. What we need are decision-makers who truly understand what they are making decisions about.

We must stop allowing politicians to pour water on our heads and convince us it is raining.

Autumn leaf analysis by Janet Davis.
Nothing is wasted, the tree absorbs the sugary nutrients before it drops its leaves. Then the fallen leaves become habitat and over-wintering locations for moths, butterflies, & other critters. By spring, most leaves become part of the soil. Nature is amazing!
