46,000 health care workers at Kaiser are on strike!

Safe staffing is critical for patients’ care and health care workers. It’s time for Kaiser to give workers the dignity, respect and fair contract they need and deserve.

"Incredibly, Trump’s recent announcements have made the situation even worse. By declaring that U.S. economic support will only continue if Milei wins at the polls, he has galvanized the Argentine opposition to Milei, thus leading to more capital flight and skyrocketing interest rates."

I dug a bit into the double standard JD Vance has, in which MAGA supporters can say anything they want, no matter how offensive and no matter how old they are, and it's just "kids being kids." But if an actual kids says something negative about Charlie Kirk, they deserve to be punished.
Thank you for your activism and this beautiful piece of writing, tying together so many important threads... 💚
I've hiked below some of these glaciers.

Wildfires, drought, bark beetle, mass Sequoia deaths, and now this. It's heartbreaking to see the Sierra Nevada transformed by climate change within the brief span of my own human lifetime.

Yup. Notably, neither Tom Homan nor anybody else in the Trump admin has outright denied that he took and kept the $50,000 in taxpayer money given to him by the FBI in their bribery scheme.

Every time they’re asked, they either pivot or attack the questioner. But they don’t deny it.
To @DaveWeigel.bsky.social’s point, it’s never once been “no,” and everyone in Trump’s government is refusing to answer what happened to the $50,000 in taxpayer money that Homan never denied taking inside a paper bag.

Both profoundly tragic and deeply inspiring. Pentagon reporters aren't "radical" folks, but here they are, walking out together. The Trump administration launched a direct frontal assault on critical press freedom, the press corps responded in unison from Fox to NPR and said no.

That’s $5 billion more than the entire annual USAID budget. All to one country. To rescue one friend of the president’s.
Trump found another $20 BILLION to give to Argentina, totaling their bailout to $40 BILLION.

Yet we can’t afford to prevent millions of Americans from losing their healthcare.

Shame.

The Supreme Court’s majority right wing indicated in oral arguments that they think racism is over on the same day that the vice president defended the “I love Hitler” guy, and that the NYT reported that the current administration plans to accept only white, English-speaking refugees.

I have a lot of respect for Zolan Kanno-Youngs and @haleaziz.bsky.social and have talked to both many times in the past. That the Times lets them be so blunt about what is happening with the U.S. refugee admissions program is a good sign of how much the Trump admin is not even trying to deny it.

Several airports across the U.S. have refused to play a video of DHS Secretary Noem blaming Democrats for the government shutdown.

Airport spokespeople said the video violates the Hatch Act.

THIS is how we stand up to Trump's weaponization of the government to serve his political ends.
