If you want to have a lightstick as part of your concert experience and are feeling bummed because the old lightsticks will stop working, that's completely valid. I'm just saying, capitalist corporations will keep doing what they do if we keep enabling them by buying all the new shit they release.

my reply:
idk and I don't want to get in the middle of that tbh. Frankly I'm a bit weary of the social media environments where instead of assuming good intentions, people always assume the worst of others, and it very quickly becomes a pancakes vs. waffles thing because everything gets read through that lens of negative expectations. It's more difficult to interpret intention through text based communication, and jumps to conclusions happen at lightning speed. I'm tired, and I just want to be able to say I think HYBE is doing some pretty nefarious shit without it being interpreted as me hating on ARMY wanting to buy certain merch, or even hating on BTS as if I think they themselves made the decision to discontinue support for the old lightsticks or something 🙃
