One of my favourite things to do at events is to be the first one to clap bc the entire room whether dozens or hundreds of ppl will immediately mimic you, and I get joy from ppl being socialised to such subconscious pack behaviours.

I am a renowned tea drinker but I've had a few flat whites on this trip bc 1) jet lag, 2) isn't it the national drink over here?? And you know what, I don't mind it. It's pretty okay, as someone who drinks coffee <10 times a year. Approved.

Someone needs to explain to me why every washing machine I've used in Europe takes 2h 30mins to wash clothes but washing machines in Thailand, Korea, Australia take a singular hour. ARE WE USING MACHINES FROM THE 1800S

I've since learned food here is measured in kJs, not calories, so the 1400 figure for milk tea was actually c. 335 calories 😆 which explains A LOT but I spent a whole day completely shocked that a single bubble tea is basically 50% of your daily calorie intake 🤣🤣

Gonna get bubble tea tomorrow 😅
