G-Dragon must be the only solo artist to win Artist of the Year twice in the history of MAMA - and to do it, what, 12 years apart? that's wild and speaks to his power. Congrats to him, his comeback has been spectacular 😍 (his stage was a bit meh, I'll be honest about that 😅)

what's interesting is that in a show of 90% gen5 performers, only one gen5 group was nominated for SOTY (aespa). Other noms went to Blackpink solo songs, GD and Huntr/x - not even a real group. This tells us something about the gen5 scene and who is getting the streams.

I think this MAMA will compose of me just googling performers' ages and tsking because they should be in school. currently on stage are 15 to 19yos. I mean I guess Bangtan was 15-20 in range at debut but at least I wasn't around to see it 😆 a 15yo shouldn't be dancing for the masses, GO TO SCHOOL
