True. I live in a blue collar community in the south eastern part of the state, so most of the Somalis I've encountered are either blue collar or in a service industry. Do you have any restaurant recommendations? I don't think my community has one.

You’re right but Somalis run the gamut of processions here. I’ve had a Somali optometrist and I’ve bough insurance from a Somali. And of course their restaurants are bomb as hell.

As a fellow Minnesotan, immigrants often take jobs doing the stuff most other people don't want to do. An older family friend had to stay at a nursing home for physical rehabilitation earlier this year. Who was doing most the cleaning and caring for the residents? Somalis.
