Unvaccinated infants are the second most likely group to get hospitalized for Covid after older adults. Any effort to minimize the effectiveness for kids is evil.

Governor, President - the kid has a future! Small businesses drive the economy!!!! This is so awesome!!!
Soon small businesses won’t have to wait for Small Business Saturday to get attention from their Mayor.

Some changes that they can look forward to:

This is my bird. I live at the poverty level at the moment, but I turned out this. That shame spread below was created with a whole job and salary that should have created a better, and better looking meal than mine. And yet.... and I'm not surprised. You can't teach good taste.

For the 50th anniversary of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, I spoke with advocates about how this law is crucial–and the ways in which disability education can be made better as its under attack from the Trump administration at @motherjones.com. www.motherjones.com/politics/202...
This disability education law turned 50 today. Disability advocates want more.

Of all the venues I've ever been to The Ritz in Raleigh is the absolute 1st class best venue for disabled people! Got me a chair for the line coming in, loaned me a hand warmer and made sure we knew where disabled seating was! So awesome!

🤍 This 'Thanksgiving Day', I thank God for those hands that, out of necessity, migrate despite obstacles and work tirelessly in another country.

Their stories are those of family heroes.

It is regrettable that many will not be able to be with their families today.

God bless them! 🙏

For some reason I thought this movie was released in the 90s - huh.... Anyway- I saw it in theaters and loved the hilarious cussing.
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home was released on this day (Nov 28) in 1986. The film had originally been planned for release in mid-December. The studio believed this would allow it to maximize earnings because the film would be in theaters during the Christmas holiday.

It's a wonderful book.
Happy holiday shopping season! Consider Woodworking, and consider buying it from an indie bookseller, whether your favorite local store or Bookshop dot org!
If you have a book lover in your life, Woodworking by Emily St. James would make a wonderful holiday gift. The hardcover edition is quite handsome. There are desks on the cover!

It isn't Thanksgiving without all of the wonderful people that grow and harvest our food! Think of them while giving Thanks today.
