There are a lot of foreign accounts, bots, and rage farmers on here.

Consider looking at a profile before getting into an online argument. They’re looking for one. It sucks up the oxygen and steals your peace.

Block them.
Excellent point.
Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.

Reading American history will break your heart a thousand times but it will also fill you with such admiration and awe for all the people who were excluded from the protection of America’s founding principles and fought to promote, protect and expand them anyways

A former Democratic colleague of hers once told me that Susan Collins is “usually there when you don’t need her and never there when you actually do.” The moderate brand she projects is entirely performative. It’s always surprised me that Maine voters don’t seem to care.
Thirty years of concern. Never enough courage.

In PA, which John represents, the EDPa has had to reject *NINETY* attempts to imprison people “without cause, without notice, and in clear violation of the Immigration and Nationality Act.” The cases keep coming because of Trump’s defiance.
“Trump hasn’t defied a single court order” is a wild thing to say

I don't have all the answers, but anyone convincing you to be mad at dems for what donald and the republicans are doing, shouldn't be trusted anymore than someone at your front door trying to sell you an extended car warranty.

I replied, “Tariffs”.

US Senator Jon Husted (R) from Ohio took donations from Epstein 'co-conspirator' Les Wexner for years. Instead of doing the right thing, Husted voted to block the file release.
He is up for re-election in 2026. Four Dems including Sherrod Brown are vying to face him.

How can you help?

Call your local Democratic Party HQ and get involved.
Call your local Supervisor of Elections to volunteer.

There are so many ways to get plugged in NOW to be ready for November.

Nobody is going to take away MY right to vote or ANYBODY else’s right on my watch.

This. Vote AND volunteer to help turn out more voters. If we all do a handful of Get Out The Vote volunteer hours, we’ll make an impact.

This work is on all of us.
Folks asking, who’s going to make sure we have fair elections?

WE ARE. We are going to march to the polls and vote or you will track your ballot until it has been processed. We will drive folks to the polls. We will canvass. We will volunteer to be poll watchers.

Be concerned & be proactive.
Facts:

The federal government has no authority over elections.

States certify their own elections.

Mail in voting is still legal.

Any chance to Election Clause of the Constitution requires 2/3 of both House and Senate and 3/4 of States to amend the Constitution....that ain't happening.

Maine people are tired of hearing about Susan Collins’ “concern.” It’s weak, it’s cowardly, and it’s time to send a leader to Washington who will actually get things done.

He really is the weakest senator there is. Two people have been murdered, there’s been no accountability, and he believes the Senate is powerless. He believes Trump gets what Trump wants.

I'm just going to say a thing.

What a person looks like is not reflective of their soul. Insulting the appearance of bad people who do bad things as an outcome or indication of their rotten hearts perpetuates the notion that conventional beauty = virtue, a myth that's led to untold human damage.

The government has time to defend an ICE shooting on TV, but not to answer the Good family’s letters to preserve evidence in Renee’s killing. No outreach, no accountability, and reported talk of investigating her grieving wife instead. That’s how authoritarian systems treat state violence.
Lawyer for Renee Good's family: There has been no outreach at all from the United States government to the Renee Good family. We have asked for the government to preserve all the evidence in this case. They are not responding to us.

"Millennials or younger"

Um...perhaps that's because YOU HAVE TO BE AT LEAST 30 YEARS OLD TO BE A U.S. SENATOR, genius.

Over 37% of the population is under 30.

(I agree it'd be nice to have some younger Senators, but this guy ain't it.)
Nearly 60% of Americans are Millennials or younger. Yet we make up just 4% of the U.S. Senate.

No wonder we don't feel represented. Because we aren't.
