I live in St. Paul - since the siege started, I've seen acquaintances organizing mutual aid fundraisers, restaurants/bars I love gathering and distributing emergency supplies, our whole community stepping up to the plate and swinging. It is genuinely heartening to see the strength of this place.

They are kidnapping non-white people, regardless of status only to sort them out later, often not even taking them to the federal building but abandoning them beaten miles from where they were. And they are brutalizing witnesses, most of whom are white citizens who only have whistles and phones.

I just want people to know that there is no active insurrection, no regular protests, no rioting or whatever. The only time people are in the streets is when masked armed ICE thugs descend on one of our neighbors to disappear them as part of a federal government-led ethnic cleansing campaign.

I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.
