The image is of Anduin and Wrathion from World of Warcraft. It is a commission by @melteeyo for @ClaretAsh. It is a scene based on a fanfic by @Silriven by the name "The Temptation of Anduin Wrynn." The image depicts Wrathion and Anduin together in a detailed room, which while hewn from stone and located inside Blackrock Mountain, is incredibly cosy. They are seated on a chesterfield style couch, in casual outfits. Wrathion reads, a hand placed on Anduin's leg who is reclining next to him, drinking tea, and they both look very relaxed. The room is filled with incredible details and is packed with things to look at - soft light trickles in a round window, and highlights a packed desk. Across the walls are detailed maps and charts, and the floor is covered by elegant rugs. From the ceilings hangs crystal lights and terrariums filled with plants. Behind the couch is a packed bookcase, filled with scrolls, oddities and books. Drying herbs hang from the shelves and a lush potted plant also sits in a corner of the room. It belongs to Nyxondra, Wrathion and Anduin's adopted black dragon daughter. A picture of her sits in the background, near the study desk. It's a home filled with love.

This is why I mask indoors when sharing air with others, regularly test, use air purifiers, and get a COVID booster every six months, most recently on Monday. Saddens and infuriates me governments and organisations are letting us down despite all the evidence these protections are still needed.

Don't forget transcripts for video and audio. Transcripts help many, including blind users and low-vision users, deaf and hard-of-hearing users, people with ADHD, and people with audio-processing disorders. Transcripts also benefit search engines, people in quiet spaces, and people in a hurry.

Some are suggesting you deliberately write inaccurate or confusing alt text, because they say this confuses AI scrapers that are analyzing images.

The purpose of alt text is to help people who cannot see the image. Deliberately misrepresenting the image is a gross misuse of alt text. Don't do it.

There is a pretty hardcore group of users here who won't repost or engage with images that don't include at least some basic alt text. Alt text = more engagement opportunities

And yes, vaccines help…lessen the severity if and when you do catch them. They aren’t sterilizing.

That doesn’t mean they’re unimportant. It just means they should not be your only layer of protection—and certainly not your family’s.
