Democrat Eric Gisler has won the seat, which was previously held by a Republican who resigned this fall.

This is a red territory: Trump won the district by 13% in 2024.

Once I had a cable guy in my house who was like 22 and he said he hated both sides equally but thought that the only candidate who could unite us all was Ryan Reynolds and I wasn’t sure how to respond to that so I just said “I’m pretty sure he’s Canadian.”
