This is Kevin. He's a reactive dog getting some training to be more comfortable. His trainer brought him to a pet store for some socialization where they learned he is no longer reactive when given a giant stuffed dinosaur. 14/10 (TT: katieandtatesfostermates)

Hey listeners…

Something I keep coming back to is this —
we’re not always meant to fix what’s heavy.

Sometimes it’s enough to just stay present, keep listening,
and let something beautiful sit beside what hurts.

Music helps with that.
It gives our feels a resting place for a while.

Some nights are made for remembering—where we've been, what we've endured, and the quiet strength it took to keep going.

Tips for new adoptive dog owners:

Leave a drag leash on, you can step on it to prevent door darting or other behaviors.

Let it explore on its own terms; give it a safe space (crate, room) to decompress.

Practice consent petting rather than smothering it with attention.

Learn @ rule of 3s.

Here is a video of a frozen creek that had begun to thaw, and the water was flowing beneath the thin ice on top. I took this because it was soothing and wonderfully bloopy and I wanted to listen to it for hours. You are all welcome to enjoy it, too. Let your brain settle here and rest for a moment.

Remember that your being was born free. You don't have to become anything, achieve anything, prove anything. It is enough to remember that love is greater than any boundary and that your heart knows the way long before your mind understands it.

As this day draws to a close, may peace gently settle in your heart. May gratitude find you. May your worries loosen their grip, your mind become calm, and your soul feel held. May the night restore what the day has demanded of you, and may you look forward to the new dawn with hope.

Let this gentle darkness hold you. Let the stillness of winter seep into those places that have forgotten how to be silent. There is profound medicine in these deep hours, when stars burn brightly against the black sky and time pauses between heartbeats.

These nights don't call for celebrations. They offer us moments of pure presence that transform the familiar darkness into something sacred. Perhaps this is what our souls need most: not another resolution, but a chance to rest in silence, to remember that we are part of something ancient.

In the deepest nights of winter, we are reminded that transformation doesn't always require movement. Sometimes it lives in the spaces in between. In the silence after dusk, in the peace of simply breathing, in the courage to remain still and trust that the light will return in its perfect time.

Self-sabotage has nothing to do with you, but exclusively with the emotional impressions that you still believe to be true.

You and the world have long moved on, but you are still giving credence to these old impressions.

Were they ever true at all?

What is the reality of this present moment?
