People bell on about stuff that doesn't matter but ask people from bands. They'll tell you the truth - that Clem Burke was the greatest of all time. We will not see his like again. The world is so much worse now.

I would like to apologise to non-orc members of the horde for misrepresenting their capacity to understand orcish in footnote 83 of the otherwise unimpeachable Avenue QAnon lyric book. It was not my intention to conflate race and culture in this way and I will reflect and do better in future.

I just sold a copy of Avenue QAnon by the Indelicates to myself for 1 billion dollars - so that is what they are officially worth now and I have a trillion dollars in leveragable assets, please lend me money to bribe voters with

Something going down on slash pol slash
Some in the online right are spreading around a post from the far-right forum 4chan "/pol/" claiming that Trump's current tariff & economic policies are essentially part of a secret plot to "lower the cost of everything."

Which would be odd and vaguely annoying if it wasn't a commonplace phrase that has been used as the title of two books and has entered the language in the same way as Shakespeare's 'in a pickle' - an appropriation that would raise no comment. It's cliché, not theft.
The new OpenAI creative writing bot's "short story" has the phrase "democracy of ghosts". It's the sort of phrase that would make me stop and admire it, if I were reading a human author - which, it turns out, I was, because it's from Nabokov's 1957 novel "Pnin".

Trump's terror of nuclear war is one of the few things about him that seems genuine — and is an obvious lever for Putin to use to manipulate him.

Trump is chickenshit. There's no other way to understand his comment to Zelensky that he was risking World War 3. Worrying about Russian nukes now, two years into this war, isn't a reasonable fear. Putin has got in his head.
