We need to stop ascribing consciousness and "life" to AI models. Giving these programs a name doesn't imbue them with personhood or sentience. We cannot and have not "created life" outside of natural procreation.

Going public might be one of the worst things any company can do. The moment a company has a legal obligation to produce endless profits to its shareholders, it has lost a HUGE amount of credit with the public. From then on, that company is always considering employees and customers second.
