so far i've been stable. i'm hoping i've been resting, hydrating, and eating well enough to maintain my hemoglobin level and produce more.
i'm starting my period soon. hopefully this time won't be so intense.
i'll be requesting tests at my follow-ups this week for close monitoring.

i had a second transfusion for a total of four. my hemoglobin is much higher, but still lower than “normal”. i am feeling much better than the last few weeks.
going to keep resting and taking care of myself. i have follow-ups next week with providers. 👩🏼⚕️👩🏾⚕️👩🏼⚕️

yesterday i was told that my hemoglobin was even lower than last week before the blood transfusions and iron infusion. i was told to go back to the ER so i did.
i was admitted to the hospital. i am stable and receiving care. 1 unit of blood last night.

been thinking about this again, and how many of us only get so much further than our parents and forebears in certain ways (whether we like to admit it or not).
