Is there any chance at all that the mainstream press will ever note “this administration lies about everything, let’s hold off on releasing this til we get confirmation?”
I know answer is No cause local PDs were always known to lie and always covered straight by local media.
But, ugh.
Early press accounts, presumably informed by DHS, claimed that the teenage girl in the first photo and another teen passenger were arrested after "colliding" with a vehicle driven by federal immigration officials.

The second photo depicts the "collision."

UPDATE: 215 cities now holding Minneapolis General Strike solidarity actions tomorrow.

This creates momentum for other cities to go on strike if ICE attacks them.

Orin is probably the preeminent fourth amendment scholar in the United States. He is also extremely professional. This is the way he says "I wish a bitch would try"
This DHS memorandum says that the DHS General Counsel's office has adopted a new position that the Fourth Amendment allows entry into the home to make an arrest just based on an administrative warrant.

I would like to see that argument.

JUDGE: what’s your favorite amendment?

KID: the third

JUDGE: why the third?

KID: because if there’s soldiers in your house, the other ones really don’t matter

The thing about America today is that if you just describe what is happening objectively and unemotionally you sound hysterical and partisan and what you have to remind people is that the reason for that is not you, it's the people doing the things you are describing
This guy went to work today, put a mask on, kidnapped a 5 year old child, and then used him as bait so both he and his father could be sent behind bars

Justice Kavanaugh: this is ok if the house is brown
🚨HOLY CRAP. An ICE whistleblower just revealed a secret memo authorizing ICE officers to break into homes without a judicial warrant, which DHS's own legal training materials say is unconstitutional!

ICE then hid the memo from the public, passing it along by word of mouth and private conversation.

Not naive. Complicit.
it's bizarre to see both CNN and CNBC run with chyrons reporting that Trump said he won't "use force" to take Greenland, when the comments in question were clearly a threat to take Greenland by force. How naive are we at this point?
