I just don't like it when games try to emulate movies because to accommodate that story, they usually trim gameplay from the game and have stupid walking scenes with nothing happening, or lifeless climbing with nothing happening, or expensive cutscenes that are a giant waste of money.

2. The triple A gaming market has become unsustainable with increasingly massive budgets and long production cycles
3. I feel that big game studios should learn to take more risks

Modern AAA games are unsustainable and are actively harming the games industry. They're too expensive to make and they take too long to make. It's putting devs under more stressful conditions, limits creativity, limits output, and it makes each game a make or break situation. They need to scale back
