This article just chilled me to my bones, immediately after leaving a show on a country-wide, 50 state, all-trans comedy tour, where I got to do a guest set in front of a very queer audience. It was beautiful. Please read this article, because we need to understand what's happening in DC,

Consultants are obsessed with reminding candidates not to talk about trans people or include us in any way in their campaigns, never mind using awkward-ass linguistic constructions like this, meanwhile my reps have never once mentioned I exist even when opposing bills that directly threaten my life.
i consume an extraordinary amount of political content and i have never seen someone in elected office use the term "birthing people"
