I think the problem is that socialism makes a lot of people think old Soviet-style. I wouldn't support that either. I do support social democracy, which is really the terminology we should be using, I think.

They should be putting in offshore wind farms instead. They won't get many takers for drilling permits anyway. Time to replace "drill, baby, drill" with "spin, baby, spin"!

4 years ago, an oil spill off of the coast of HB devastated the OC, polluting our beaches and harming our multi-billion dollar coastal economy.
Now, Trump wants to add more offshore drilling off the coast of CA – something that hasn’t happened since 1984. California’s coastline is NOT for sale.

They're so fucking stupid and don't realize it. The only reason many white students can afford graduate degrees is because foreign students pay for the programs and allow them to be economically efficient. Without foreign students, many programs will now simply collapse. Genius.

Well. At least we're getting off coal. I'd sure like to see oil and gas dropping a lot faster. These giant AI data farms should be requirednto install their own solar, wind, batteries. It's hard to reduce overall emissions gast when energy deman is exploding.
