There is something very odd happening to Labor leaders. They seem to think that inviting the President of Israel to Australia will help heal trauma while inviting an Australian of Palestinian descent to a literary festival will cause division. Is this stupidity or capture?

The NACC is a bad joke. I thinks it’s worse to have one as ineffective than it is to have none at all.

I’ve been going back and forth on this but this clinches it—I think these guys really want a Persian Gulf labor model in the US. It’s not a coherent philosophy—nothing ever is with these assholes—but I’ve worked on Gulf labor stuff and I’m seeing more and more of it here. Long thread 1/
