It's my birthday next week so here's a reminder that I have commissions open if you like my art (available thru the Kofi link below)
#PortfolioDay part two!

When I'm not tattooing, I'm illustrating scenes & characters from my ttrpg campaigns.

I also open commissions a few times a year and draw other people's characters!

Let me give some insight on this, as a producer in the dub industry who worked with major streamers, who's witnessed first-hand where this push for AI is coming from.

tl;dr: Only CEOs want this. Tell them how much you hate it. Be loud, email, call, @, post. You will kill this.

🧵⬇️
The only thing less human than these AI dub performances is the decision to sign off on them

A company this big can pay human actors a decent wage, not produce slop that intentionally removes the human element.

Go give Shrimp Game a wishlist on Steam. Go play the demo to see how you like it.
It's a lot of fun!

Well, Astor: Blade of the Monolith was...fine.

I enjoyed the overall game, just some pieces fell a little flat. I'd still recommend giving this game a play, just go in with tempered expectations.

A very good game with a nice take on the metroidvania genre. I really enjoyed the characters and pixel art. Relatively short and sweet, but still enjoyable and worth the play.

I would definitely recommend you play this game.

So, if not long from now I were to say I have room for at least one or two of these, would anyone be interested?
For the uninitiated, here's a snippet of what I do when I'm inspired

SCOOP: For the last two years, Microsoft has pushed Xbox to hit profit margins of 30%, an ambitious target that's far higher than the industry average.

This chase for profit has led Xbox to raise prices, cut thousands of jobs, and rethink everything.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope has been great to play and the story has been very engaging. Some parts do show their age, but it's passable enough.

I would recommend this game, but only if you can adjust to older/clunky game design.

See below for more of my thoughts.

This game has been pretty good for a majority of the playthrough. A sprinkle of annoyances, but nothing egregious.

I get to like the start of the last 1/4th of the game and it just feels like it nose dives. A mechanic that was introduced at the start is finally now being encouraged.

Sadly had to stop playing Valfaris cause it was getting on my nerves.

In terms of metroid-y, it was pretty good. Nice variety of weapons to customize how you play. Just some of the level design and randomness made it annoying.

Give it a try, but it's not for me

Sword of the Sea was such a delightful game to play. Very reminiscent of Journey, but it also shines on its own.

I highly recommend this game if you're looking for a chill game with incredible music and visuals.

Just finished playing Dungeons of Hinterberg and it was an incredible time. Loved the story, the gameplay, the art style, the mechanics. Everything!

Honestly, I cannot think of anything I disliked. I highly recommend giving this game a play.

Another short one, but definitely worth it.

Spilled! was a very feel-good game where you could enjoy taking your time.

It's another game I followed the dev time for a bit and am so glad it was released. Go follow @lente.me to see what else they're up to on their boat.

Wasn't quite expecting it to be so short, but I really enjoyed it. A great puzzle game I'd highly recommend. I look forward to seeing what else this team comes up with.

I had my eyes on this for a bit while it was in development, so I'm happy to finally be playing Sands of Hope

Here's a thread on my Destiny 2 campaign experience.
Overall not too bad, good build up throughout until a dip toward the end.

This is only Shadowkeep through Lightfall as they were free on Epic Game Store at the time. So I'll play The Final Shape when/if it becomes free as well.

#ScyReviews
So far the gameplay loop is just as addictive as it was before. Just finished Shadowkeep and started up Beyond Light.

My only gripe is that some of the stronger enemies feel a little spongey. It makes sense to use your abilities and heavy weapons more, but even then it feels like chip damage.
Welp, scratch that

The "Destiny 2 on the side" has turned into "Destiny 2 main course" as I've started to go through the campaigns

So looks like I'll start up Star Ocean afterward lol

Hoping I can get a better grasp on my ideas and introduce you to these characters soon !
