Sending Bovino out there to do damage control is definitely a choice.
BASH: You said he wanted to 'massacre law enforcement.' It doesn't like like that

BOVINO: I believe the fantastic training our law enforcement partners have prevented any specific, ahhh, shootings of law enforcement. So good job by our law enforcement in taking him down before he was able to do it

This is one of the better pieces I saw today. But that’s because the theme is very similar to me as well.

The federal government just executed someone for exercising his 1st and 2nd Amendment rights.
A DHS statement claimed “an individual approached US Border Patrol officers” with “a handgun” in the Alex Pretti shooting incident. A Bellingcat analysis of the footage appears to show that a gun was taken away from where Pretti was situated by an agent just before the first shot was fired.

Narrator: He indeed could not, explain his healthcare plan.
Q: Can you explain how your healthcare plan will affect premiums?

TRUMP: It's a tremendous thing. It's called the great healthcare plan. And we're gonna get tremendous, uh, reductions through, uh, if you look at prescription drugs, they're gonna come down by numbers that have never been seen before

history may not repeat, but it sure does rhyme
1/ Donald Trump isn't the first person to be given someone else's Nobel Prize medal. The last recipient of an unearned Nobel medal was none other than Nazi propaganda chief Joseph Goebbels, at the instigation of Norwegian author Knut Hamsun. ⬇️

No, no one, me included, expects this to work. But we don't even try. We just yell at Democrats & pretend they can Do A Magical Unicorn as the minority party, exercising control of exactly <zero> institutions of the federal government. It's maddening. We can't focus as a country. Just incredible.

This is why I tell people that toppling a regime is relatively easy for the US. It's putting the country back together that's difficult, b/c all of the factions -- even ones who supported the US effort -- fracture and pursue their own interests. Those interests don't always align to the US position.
Our military and intelligence pros are good at what they do. However, they rely on elected officials to insure that the policies they execute are wise. It remains to be seen. Our initial forays into Iraq and Afghanistan were impressive as well, but it is the longer run picture that matters.
Trump said President Maduro and his wife were placed on a ship, the USS Iwo Jima, to be taken to New York, and that they were removed from Venezuela by helicopter.

“They went by helicopter, a nice flight. I’m sure they loved it.” he told Fox & Friends.

Spot on
Maduro is bad, his government has been bad, that’s not the point. There are multiple bad state leaders in the world.

The point is whether removal by force makes things better.

Whatever the goal—drugs? migration? conditions in Venezuela?—destabilization could make things worse.

Or is this just the “Jesus take the wheel” school of military planning?

Trump: "I heard that number today -- half of Gaza would leave. I've always said it. I said if they were given the opportunity to live in a better climate, they would move. We're helping the people of Gaza a lot. So is Israel, by the way."

If we were to provide Ukraine with the support they needed through the end of 2026, I think Russia would have to back down. Their economy is on the precipice of disaster.
Putin meant for this to be a show of strength but anyone who has been paying attention will see it for what it is: an act of desperation.

Time to double down on support for Ukraine and pressure on Russia; and relegate Putin to the ash heap of history alongside his beloved Soviet Union!

Senator Kelly is correct.

Plus a Public Service Announcement:

KEY section of Department of Defense's Law of War Manual is 18.3.2.1.

The VERY rule on the "requirement" to refuse illegal orders gives as its paradigmatic example of what is "clearly illegal:
"orders to fire upon the shipwrecked."
