Isn't this essentially a subsidy for health care without the incentive to actually use the money to purchase it? The ACA already has a subsidy for health care that they are trying to erase. Make it make sense.
Trump on healthcare: "I've had personal talks with some Democrats about paying large amounts of dollars back to the people. This was my idea ... why don't we just pay this money directly to the people of our country and let them buy their own health insurance?"

It’s hard to believe but there was a cartoon about an immigrant mouse and it was seen as totally fine and not controversial and not woke because it was an aspirational and nice thing about America that people could come here and find a better life
