Walz is capitulating to fascists and encouraging night raids. Genuinely disgusting. Why would anyone settle for this?

The AG and Gov are clear that we haven't identified these thugs in tactical gear. We need a new law to identify them.

So how do police even know if they're ICE? At a minimum police should detain them and ask for ID. This shouldn't be controversial or a legal gray area at all.
WA Gov. Bob Ferguson and AG Nick Brown say they're preparing Washington for the possibility of federal immigration enforcement actions and potential clashes with ICE — warning civil liberties could be at risk.

WA Leaders Prepare for Possibility of Immigration Crackdown
Gov. Bob Ferguson and AG Nick Brown say Washington is bracing for intensified ICE activity — and ask communities to stay alert, informed, and ready to record interactions.

Alternatively, let's say you don't believe in Democracy. You just care about stopping Trump by any means. Say you're cold like that.

Voters told Democrats what they wanted: don't ask us to support genocide. Right or wrong, the price of winning was known ahead of time. Democrats chose losing instead
Whether voters withheld support was over something trivial or, as in this case, to demand the state cease directly facilitating the violent extermination of hundreds of thousands of innocent people, if you believe in democracy you need to believe in the legitimacy of losing.

This is the actual threat to salmon and orca here in the Puget Sound region. New apartments help salmon and orca, rather than harm them, because it becomes easier for people to live without driving and thus reduce pollution that threaten salmon and orca. The "tree people" have it exactly backward.

And, the Washington Department of Licensing is sharing driver data with ICE.

If Ferguson wants to protect people from ICE, there are lots of concrete actions he can take instead of making vague, empty claims at press conferences

"Humble words and increased preparations are signs that the enemy is about to advance. Violent language and driving forward as if to the attack are signs that he will retreat."

He's kinda right. The Art of War sure does have the fascists' number.
MAGA military geniuses are talking about Minnesota protestors like they are the Iraqi insurgency, the Taliban, and the Viet Cong all rolled into one.

Right now, Bob Ferguson oversees direct intelligence sharing through the Washington State Fusion Center with at least 245 DHS agents, including ICE & CBP.

That Fusion Center is located within the FBI Field Office in Seattle which shares a zero lot line with an NSA peering spying hub.
Secretary Noem, your administration now openly authorizes ICE agents to forcibly enter people's homes without a judicial warrant.

That is blatantly unconstitutional – ICE cannot authorize itself to break into people’s homes.

If ICE attempts such unconstitutional measures in Washington...

@atg.wa.gov

After DA Brooke Jenkins announced she would prosecute ICE, Oct 16 2025, Trump chickened out. Invasion of SF was cancelled on Oct 23.

These goons are too dumb to understand subtle legal threats. Tell them in plain English you WILL send them to jail. Loudly. Clearly.

So simply naming someone is doxxing, but taking photos and license plate numbers to create a database of the opposition for government stalking and harassment purposes is not?

Naming someone is not doxxing them, and moving them to another city to kill more is conspiracy against rights.

Congressional Republicans gave Trump a slush fund for ICE and CBP in the "Big Beautiful Bill." Tens of billions of dollars that is still usable even during a shutdown.

Democrats must make rescinding that money the price of any future govt funding, as Republicans did with IRS money from the IRA.

Saying there must be trials isn't just an emotive aspiration.

Congress can:
- Create a new court (complying w/ 6A jury vicinage)
- Give it jurisdiction over defined category of crimes
- Also create dedicated prosecutors for the same
- Strip SCOTUS of appellate jurisdiction

It can be done.
