Banksy has your number.
Have you looked at my posting history? I just looked at yours. Bitch, you make commercials! You're in advertising. You're a social parasite manipulating the public in the service of capital. You can fuck right off with your pose. You're a fraud.
This phenomena has been around forever. And it's been well spotted and nailed down. This is a favorite critique, from 2001.

You have no idea what I've been doing. If you have an argument to make, make it with evidence and reasoning gained from those "decades". Appeal to authority arguments don't work where no one can verify your claimed source of authority. Anyone can do internet tough-guy posturing.
It might just be my particular filter-bubble, but I have seen far more posts decrying posts by radicals criticizing the No Kings events, than I have seen actual posts by radicals criticizing the No Kings events.

This article is the antidote to the New York Times article about Portland that enraged everyone a few weeks ago. People don't have homes because they can't afford them & our safety net is a wad of shredded plastic snarled with trash on a riverbank instead of the beautiful sturdy thing it could be.
Trump’s Portland narrative didn’t appear suddenly; it’s more a denouement after powerful interests catastrophized challenges for political gain.Years of oiling the growth machine, even in a city with a progressive reputation, have failed to produce material results for voters.

Here’s some history:
Portlanders mock Trump for calling their city ‘war-ravaged’. But they’re clear-eyed about its problems
Like many American cities, Portland has been struggling to combat rising unaffordability and homelessness

Don't let anybody (including your self-doubt) hold you back from doing the things that need to be done or building the things that need to be built. If you and others want more, then you can work to make more a reality.
Cops are also bullies who like to play the hero. I don’t think many of them will risk their jobs, let alone jail time, for the Trump project. They’ll switch sides, or at least not repress, if it looks like the opposition is going to win.
And in that one experience you learned all there is to know. You are now the Pope of protests?

the crowd sizes are obviously the highlight here but the fact that *this* is the public statement of the NYPD does not bode well for the regime. or, put another way:

I do not regret to inform you that we are going to win
ZERO arrests at No Kings in NYC. (And the NYPD isn’t notorious for being sympathetic with people anti-Trump.)

This proves what shameless liars Speaker Mike Johnson & Karoline Leavitt are to slander the participants as violent anarchists.

📽️ WATCH: This video on the rise of Russ Vought, Trump's “shadow president,” is based on scores of interviews, thousands of pages of emails and dozens of hours of videos and recordings of private briefings given by Vought, most of which have not been previously reported.

So much tear gas & flash grenades tonight at ICE in Portland. US Gestapo came out, pushed people back & held a line as other feds shot down tear gas canisters from the roof. People were dancing before this as an impromptu rave broke out
@missyrohs.bsky.social 🖤

So many street-fighting manarchists.
A lot of labor unionists defied their leaders and left the march to join us in the blockade, as well.
One reason we succeeded when we blockaded the hotels and meeting sites in Seattle and shut down the WTO, was that the cops couldn't respond because the streets were clogged with liberals in dorky costumes and labor unionists having a permitted march.

Y’all here is a fun fact: Portland has a brand new volunteer organization called “operation inflation” that allows people to borrow inflatable costumes for protests. They just started a couple weeks ago and have like a 160 costume library (and counting because people keep donating).

Just arrived on the scene at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in South Portland. Here less than 10 minutes when agents charged out of the facility and used a pale yellow gas that caused tears and coughing in crowd members. Also shot munitions at those retreating.

I wouldn’t be surprised if TriMet breaks a post-pandemic record for ridership today

Cheers of “quit your job” and “shame, shame, shame” erupted outside the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement complex in South Portland as a small but growing crowd surrounded the complex.
