on some level I understand it cause there’s definitely a place for easy, comforting books, my problem is when people run into a challenging, emotionally difficult book and make it everyone else’s problem that it made them harmlessly uncomfortable

my frustration w/ fandom lately is the growing number of people who don’t seem to a actually want to engage with stories. they want everything to be fun or relatable or easy to digest. Which u know is fine, just read slice of life manga and watch blues clues and you’ll be ok

I will never understand why they replaced community submitted subtitles for this nonsense
Real human people were happy and willing to make subtitles in a variety of languages for free, and the creator had full control of what submissions were used

The video is an interview and it's... not even watchable now. Like the auto-dubbing is just saying random nonsensical words. 😭
