Bit of light story-time reading for my three month old.

Pretty sure I got the idea of just reading anything to him as long as it’s in ‘the right tone’ from ‘three men and a baby’

I’m 5’10”

I get that this is also an accessibility issue but there has to be a better solution.

Why doesn’t the whole changing table sit on an adjustable wall mount?

Well I was enjoying squid game 2 but the final 2 episodes are pretty dull.

*SPOILERS*

The final episode is basically an hour long gun fight.

A five minute gunfight is dull as fuck. That was so tedious.

I needed to blog about how good Assassin's Creed Shadows is at hills and forests for @aftermath.site aftermath.site/assassins-cr...
Assassin’s Creed Shadows Gets Nature Right - Aftermath
Assassin's Creed Shadows makes a star of the seasons, and the rolling hills of Japan have never been more beautiful in a video game.

Well - 3 hours into Assassins Creed Shadows isn’t bad for 5pm on launch day with a 3 month old.

Undoubtedly staggeringly beautiful. I can’t really comment further though cause I’d say you get to play maybe 30 minutes in the first 2 hours - discounting walking after someone and talking as ‘playing’

Still trying to work out how to connect on here.

Looking to talk about:
Politics
Gaming
Film/TV
DEI

Maybe football - Man City fan. I love it but it brings out the worst in everyone.

Is JK Rowling even a real person at this point?
She thinks the child workers whose labor she profited hugely from should have been committed from age 11 to supporting her political views for the rest of their lives, no matter how hateful those views became

Utterly disgusting. The disdain in his voice. Almost as if he feels that of course he has a mortgage and of course we - the working class - don’t.

We don’t deserve what they have in their eyes. This is as clear as day.
A government minister was asked if he could live on £70 a week.

It was while he was defending the government's onslaught against disabled people.

@torstenbell.bsky.social's response was beyond belief.

Played about 30 hours of DragonAge Veilguard since it was released on PS+ and… I think I’m done.

I don’t think the combat is good enough to justify sticking with an incredibly linear game. The whole game has felt like walking down a long corridor I. One regard or another.

I’m at that very sad stage of ‘new dad’ where, my son is sleeping pretty well. I’ve got the PS5 linked to the PS4 so I can ‘remote play’ dragon age Veilguard from my bed whilst my wife sleeps and I can keep an eye on the wee man and…

I’m just too fucking tired. Maybe tomorrow.

Tried watching that ‘Batch from Scratch’ thing on channel 4.

So many things that drive me mad about this type of tv.

Firstly, cooking is not that hard and doesn’t take up that much time - if you prioritise it. You have to eat and you have to feed your kids. Find the time.

It’s funny how unsurprising all this is.

Why is it that the MPs/councillors that opposed Corbyn all seem to be hateful cunts? It’s almost as if they’re ideologically opposed to helping people…

I do love the annual ‘what’s bigger, the Super Bowl or the World Cup?’ Question

Followed by everyone talking solely about the half time show.

I couldn’t even tell you who played.

I’m still struggling to get into Bluesky. It’s a lot better than twitter and threads but I think it’s also highlighted how bad I am at finding people on these kinds of platforms.

Or is it just that I’m struggling cause it’s new?
