As it stands my mum doesn’t even know she’s a grandma.
No one is their parents. Everyone has flaws and I hope I recognise them whilst I’m actively parenting rather than in 20 years time - or not at all.

Not ten minutes ago I was being woken up by my apparently starving son who desperately needed his night feed and was making me aware I’d slept through the ‘level 1’ warning sounds.
