Thank you Joaquin.
Just visited with Liam and his father at Dilley detention center. I demanded his release and told him how much his family, his school, and our country loves him and is praying for him.

Your enemy is vulnerable and on the ropes. The last thing you do now is give them room to re-organize or settle for peace. You must use your maximal power to attack them, keep them on the back foot and fighting each other than reorganizing under limited demands

That’s okay, it takes some people a while. Glad to have them aboard.
The rest of us were called hysterical when we wrote and said this.

But now that The Atlantic is writing it, a lot of wealthy, privileged, NYC-DC Acela folks will finally come around.

What has happened to this man? Does anyone know? I’ve read a lot about him and nothing suggests he would become such a stooge.
MEANWHILE REPUBLICAN JUDGES ACROSS THE COUNTRY HAVE BEEN VOTING TO STRIKE DOWN BLUE STATE "SENSITIVE PLACES" LAWS BANNING GUNS AT AND AROUND PUBLIC GATHERINGS
KARL: He was an ICU use who worked for the VA and there's no evidence he brandished the gun whatsoever

BESSENT: But he brought a gun

KARL: I mean, we do have a Second Amendment

BESSENT: I've been to a protest -- guess what? I didn't bring a gun. I brought a billboard

this is right. you don't have to work out every detail. start with no. go from there.
Senate Dems needn’t come to agreement on everything right now. That’s a path to the lowest common denominator. They simply have to agree to filibuster DHS approps. As to which of a host of anti-brutality and anti-authoritarian proposals to advance, let a thousand flowers bloom.

Saying this as clearly as possible. If the response to the murder of Alex Pretti by any account is to attack Chuck Schumer, The Senate MINORITY Leader who can do almost nothing, rather than attack John Thune, Senate MAJORITY Leader that could end this with the stroke of a pen, unfollow that account.

By who? Who shot the person dead? You saw the video. We all know a federal agent shot a man dead who was prone on the ground. Also, it's not "according to officials." It's according to verified video seen with your eyes. Not saying what anyone can obviously see with their eyes is a form of lying.

Yes! Let’s focus on what’s possible rather than criticizing those less pure than we imagine ourselves to be
People are outraged about Jared Golden who is retiring, but ignoring Mike Lawler who @mikesacks.bsky.social can beat if we support him versus screaming into an echo chamber.

I think Paul is right. Possibly R’s only shot at keeping the House is being able to blame the Dems for a shutdown, which won’t work in any case. Not caring if their own people suffer gives the Rs an advantage.

Agree! Americans are standing up. Media jerks are complacent and, especially at the NYT, even more pompous than usual.
I see this take around from time to time and totally disagree. ICE just murdered a woman standing up to them. No Kings is among the largest protests in history.

The complacency is coming from elites in media, business, universities, and the Democratic leadership
