The donor money will not go left. That's why Schumer et al won't budge. That's always been why. The money, in general, I think, prefers Democrats to MAGA, but they fear the left most. And the closer the young people get to calling democracy's bluff, the harder they will push back.

We polled Indivisible members over the weekend on whether Dems should take a deal or keep fighting for the ACA subsidies. Results: 98.67% said keep fighting.
Dems who vote to surrender now are fracturing their own party in a way that will reverberate loudly in the primaries.

1. A CR that will prevent the GOP from facing the wrath of Americans for a shutdown over the holidays
2. A coupon for one (1) meaningless ACA vote that will fail
3. An end to the illegal RIF/SNAP moves that are already before the courts

Speaker Johnson is officially keeping the House in recess again next week. This will be the eighth consecutive week the House has been out of session. The chamber hasn't met since Sept. 19. Adelita Grijalva, who was elected on Sept. 23, has not been sworn in.
